Mr. Shanks Naidoo has been elected as the new President/Chairperson for Gauteng West Chess Association at a Special General Meeting which was held at 11h00 on 12th May, 2012 at Maragon Private School, Cnr. Peter and Van Dalen Roads, Ruimsig.

Gauteng West would like to congratulate him on his appointment and would also like to thank the outgoing President/Chairperson, Mike Pon for his contribution made to Gauteng West over the past few years.
